Donate and support the Bridge Art Project

As we approach the end of the financial year, the Bridge Art Project is calling on our supporters to make a tax-deductible donation towards the development of our new gallery space. It’s nearly the end of the financial year, so a very useful opportunity presents itself.

As a registered charity with DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status, your donation will not only help us to create a vibrant and welcoming space for local artists and art lovers, but it could also provide you with a tax benefit.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference to the success of our project. Your support will help us to purchase the materials, labour and equipment we need to build the gallery, and to provide the programming and resources necessary to make it a hub for creative expression in our community.

We believe that art is a powerful force for good, and that by supporting the Bridge Art Project, you are helping to create a more vibrant, connected, and culturally rich community for us all.

The new financial year is upon us and the Bridge Art Project is inviting you to become a member (if you are not already!).

One way you can contribute is to join us.

We recognise that time is a dwindling commodity so have structured two types of membership below. The cost is $30 per annum, whichever type of membership you choose.

For the time poor but supportive, become Bridge Art Project Friend - no commitments - receive the newsletter and invitations to events. As a Bridge Art Poject Friend you will ally with art, culture, ideas and people in the exciting establishment phase of the gallery and facilities.
For those with a little more time to invest – we invite you to express interest in becoming a General Member of the Association. As a General Member, you will receive the newsletter and invitations to attend and participate in monthly meetings (these are not compulsory). Your input will help guide the future of Art in
Echuca-Moama.

General Members are eligible to nominate for the Steering Committee or to join one of our new Sub-committees. There are opportunities to contribute to fundraising and grants, finance, art activities and exhibitions and through community engagement.

If you have some time, energy or passion to invest for the next year– Nominate to join the Steering Committee at the AGM on 10 August – somewhat more demanding – Steering Committee members are nominated from the General Membership at each AGM for a one year term. They are financial members and also need to pay their $30 membership. There are 4 office bearer positions to be elected within the Steering Committee, (President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary, and 5 additional members). Legally responsible for the running of the organisation. Attendance at monthly meetings is required and may involve working on one of our new subcommittees. If you would like to be a part of the Steering Committee please ensure that you have become a General Member and then email Lynne Gillard, the Secretary to express your interest. info@bridgeartproject.com.au

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 5.00pm - 6.30pm upstairs at the Mill Echuca.
Our membership paid per financial year, commencing on 1 July 2023, so payments are now due.
